To Bridge the Gap Between Faith and Reason

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7

“Therefore my people go into exile for lack of knowledge; their honored men go hungry, and their multitude is parched with thirst.” Isaiah 5:13

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." Hosea 4:6

Mission

The Logic of God exists to cultivate more profound faith in seekers and believers who have felt spiritually "spoon-fed" by traditional teachings. Inspired by the parable of the sower, we aim to break up the shallow soil of unquestioned beliefs and nurture seeds of faith rooted in personal understanding and critical thought. Through exploring Scripture’s depth and logic, we empower listeners to grow resilient, well-grounded convictions that withstand the challenges of modern Christianity.

Purpose

To support those deconstructing traditional church experiences in their journey toward authentic, grounded faith. We recognize that many have been encouraged to accept teachings without question, often missing the depth and transformative power of a true encounter with God’s Word. Our purpose is to cultivate a healthy skepticism toward all teachings—ours included—anchored in Scripture and aimed at discovering truth.

The Bible warns us to "test everything; hold fast what is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Our goal is to foster a community where listeners feel encouraged to do just that, reflecting the Bereans’ approach to Paul’s teachings. Acts 17:11 states, "Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." Like the Bereans, we believe each person should thoughtfully and eagerly examine what they hear, seeking alignment with God’s Word.

James 3:1 reminds us, "Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness." This truth drives us to handle Scripture with humility, recognizing the responsibility that comes with teaching and the danger of leading others astray. Jesus Himself warns of false teachers who "come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves" (Matthew 7:15). In a world full of competing voices, our mission is to guide listeners in discerning truth from error, cultivating a resilient faith built on personal conviction and Scripture, not tradition alone.

Our purpose, then, is to provide a platform where listeners feel empowered to question, verify, and hold fast to what is true, allowing their faith to be deeply rooted and nourished by a personal understanding of God’s Word. The Logic of God invites you to explore your faith critically, encouraging a journey not of blind acceptance but of genuine belief.

Five Core Presuppositions

  1. God Exists: God is the only ex nihilo (out of nothing) uncaused Cause, the starting point of all existence. Everything that exists requires a cause or starting point, but God, as the eternal Creator, exists beyond time and creation. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). He alone is self-existent and independent, the foundational reality from which all else flows.

  2. God is Good: God’s goodness is essential to His character; without it, He would not be worthy of worship. “For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you” (Psalm 86:5). His goodness makes Him a God we can trust and serve wholeheartedly, knowing His nature is both just and loving.

  3. God Loves Us: At the core of God’s interaction with humanity is His love. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). His love pursues us and provides us with the gift of salvation.

  4. Jesus is God: Jesus Christ is God in human form, revealing God’s love and plan for redemption. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:1, 14). Jesus embodies the fullness of God.

  5. God Speaks to Us Through Scripture: The Bible is God’s inspired Word, guiding us in truth and wisdom. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Through His Word, God communicates His will and purposes.
