To Bridge the Gap Between Faith and Reason
Exploring Scripture’s depth and logic so seekers and believers grow resilient, well-grounded convictions that endure.
-
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Proverbs 1:7 -
“Therefore my people go into exile for lack of knowledge; their honored men go hungry, and their multitude is parched with thirst.”
Isaiah 5:13 -
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”
Hosea 4:6
Mission
The Logic of God exists to cultivate more profound faith in seekers and believers who have felt spiritually “spoon-fed” by traditional teachings. Inspired by the parable of the sower, we aim to break up the shallow soil of unquestioned beliefs and nurture seeds of faith rooted in personal understanding and critical thought. Through exploring Scripture’s depth and logic, we empower listeners to grow resilient, well-grounded convictions that withstand the challenges of modern Christianity.
Purpose
We equip believers and seekers navigating spiritual deconstruction to build an authentic, Scripture-anchored faith. Many have been taught to accept doctrine without question, missing the depth and transformative power of God’s Word. We encourage healthy, Bible-anchored skepticism to test every teaching (1 Thessalonians 5:21) and to examine the Scriptures daily like the Bereans (Acts 17:11). By fostering critical thinking, spiritual resilience, and personal engagement with Scripture, we help believers form convictions that endure.
Teaching
We recognize the weight of James 3:1, approaching Scripture with humility because teachers are held to higher accountability. In a world of competing voices and false teachings (Matthew 7:15), our mission is to guide believers in discerning truth from error. We cultivate personal conviction, critical thinking, and a deep relationship with God’s Word—so faith is resilient, rooted, and ready to endure challenges.
Five Core Presuppositions
God Exists
God is the only ex nihilo (out of nothing) uncaused Cause, the starting point of all existence. Everything that exists requires a cause or starting point, but God, as the eternal Creator, exists beyond time and creation. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). He alone is self-existent and independent, the foundational reality from which all else flows.
God is Good
God’s goodness is essential to His character; without it, He would not be worthy of worship. “For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you” (Psalm 86:5). His goodness makes Him a God we can trust and serve wholeheartedly, knowing His nature is both just and loving.
God Loves Us
At the core of God’s interaction with humanity is His love. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). His love pursues us and provides us with the gift of salvation.
Jesus is God
Jesus Christ is God in human form, revealing God’s love and plan for redemption. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:1, 14). Jesus embodies the fullness of God.
God Speaks Through Scripture
The Bible is God’s inspired Word, guiding us in truth and wisdom. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Through His Word, God communicates His will and purposes.
